Global venture funding for January 2023 was down 50% year over year from the $62 billion invested in January 2022, but up 27% month over month from the $24.5 billion invested in December 2022.
However, if you remove the whopping $10 billion invested by Microsoft into OpenAI, the number for January was worse than the lowest month of 2022.
