A new shape to my sourdough bread.

And more importantly I have given my sourdough starter (aka mother) a new lease on life.
I discovered that the council puts chlorine into our water and that the chlorine was inhibiting my starter. A jug of water left in the counter for 24 hours gets rid of the chlorine. The sourdough starter loves its new water!
Now I have got to get used to starter that gets so active it climbs out of the bottle looking for more flour!

I don't know where those numbers are posted. I have found various numbers & I think things changed recently. I think it went down. I said all that to say the #starter #packs will come out over a number of hours not all at once. I think the magic number you can follow is 3K in a day. Don't quote me.

Mastodon is getting its own Version of Bluesky’s Starter Packs with Collections — a new Feature coming in Mastodon 4.6 that lets People bundle and share recommended Accounts.

Mastodon has openly said it reviewed public feedback around Bluesky’s feature before building its own take, especially around consent and removal controls. If someone adds your account to a Collection, you will be notified, able to review it, and remove yourself if needed.

⁉️Users can also opt-out entirely by disabling the existing “Feature profile and posts in discovery algorithms” setting, which makes their account ineligible for Collections.⁉️
