love 2 get an episode of a current show that follows up directly on the ending of a show I've only just started watching

(I mean, I knew the basics of how DS9 ends, Star Trek does not have a lot of broad strokes I've not picked up one way or another, but still.)

I like that they decided to move the capital of the Federation to Betazed in Starfleet Academy, de-centering Earth. I can only hope that they keep up the themes of growth and letting things change in a way that resonates. #startfleetacademy #startrek

No spoilers. I just watched EP1 of #StartFleetAcademy. Very enjoyable. It will generate the usual complaints from the usual complainers who have no idea what #StarTrek is really about. I do expect outright shrieking over a music choice.

Giamatti is off to a good start. I heard somewhere he studied Aliamo's Dukat.
