C’est assez inattendu car l’offre de Starshield est plutôt réservée aux clients de sécurité ou de défense nationale. Dans le cadre de son programme Pilot, la Nasa va utiliser Starshield en renfort de ses antennes de communication interplanétaire.

SpaceX’s classified satellite constellation Starshield used primarily by the US military for Earth observation and communications was discovered sending data back to Earth using the 2025 to 2110 MHz spectrum which is reserved for satellite uplinks.

These actions by SpaceX can potentially cause interference with other nearby commercial, scientific, or military satellites.
