Played Full Thrust and Stargrunt, still have to play Dirtside.
Full Thrust is probably still my favourite sci-fi ship combat system, just the right amount of abstraction while having a vector movement system.

We decided to replay last week's game of Xenos Rampant using the Stargrunt II rules.

As before, a group of marines try to escort some teenagers and their dog across xenos infested ruins. The ending was a bit of a surprise, and we finished with more questions than we started with.

Our wargaming this week was some Stargrunt, a 25mm ground based SciFi wargame. We had a platoon each, fighting over control of some ruined buildings as our objectives. It was kept to just infantry, to keep things simple as we continue to get used to the rules.

Our first wargame of 2023 was a return to Stargrunt, the 25mm SciFi game of squad level combat. It's a game with lots and lots of markers, but also has an interesting feel to it due to the way it handles combat and casualties.
