Oh, episode 8 is the one with Tilly. Cool. And with a 20th century play by a US author. Shit. I could understand this type of references in TOS and even TNG. But we are way into the 21st century. We deserve Klingon theater, Betazed ballet and Vulcan poetry. Or, let's be wild!, references to cultures from other parts of the world. #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy

I don't like this episode 7 of #StarfleetAcademy. I don't like royalty stories. I don't like artificially blown up sexual tension. I don't like the way US Americans tell family stories. I hope I'll like episode 8 better. 20 min left on this one. #StarTrek

So, erste Staffel Starfleet Academy beendet.
Gefällt mir. Das Design der Schiffe nach dem Brand allerdings nicht.
Käpt'n Nahla Ake ist toll. Jett Reno hat das ganze Teenagerdrama schön aufgelockert. Nus Braka ist ein ungewohnt rotziger Bösewicht.
Und der running gag mit der talaxianischen Fellfliege... 😄

I enjoyed #starfleetacademy and I'm well in my 40's. I looked at it from a point of the older characters in the series and their struggles, not so different as the ones I have with my own teenagers.
