Do we have a pair of Squox fighting a Megapython here? Is this something that would only make sense in legend?
Vulkariki, the first Squox, is the child of Elindrae the Moon God and Shotaviras the First Shota, begotten from a trickster-war those two gods waged against each other. Given Elindrae's fluidity & shapeshifting knack, and Shotaviras's natural lustiness, perhaps that is no surprise. However, regarding which was Vulkariki's mother, and which was Vulkariki's father, there the legends grow oddly muddled...
Whatever the truth, Vulkariki grows to have their own set of legendary adventures, becoming a trickster-hero worthy of both his parents. Do they fight a Megapython for posession of a great & wonderful Moqeva treasure?

This is not an happy story, but based on desperation & hunger for freedom.
I've written of the ~Rahyathalma~: male Damaya & female Korasha. Within the Lashunta Matriarchy where Damaya females reign supreme, the ~Rahyathalma~ occupy a marginalized gray area, neither fully entitled like female Damaya nor totally subjugated like male Korasha. Unfortunately this means their place in society is tenuous. At worst, it is subject to challenge.
Given that Lashunta Damaya can resemble Elves, would it be any surprise that male Damaya may try to do so? Within the city of Qabarat, with its aiudara elfgates, Elven colonial origins, and its sizable Elf-farthing community, a male Damaya can braid his antennae into his hair, add some ear prostheses, and change their skin patterns with some makeup.
They are the ~Valazelaura~ - Elf-lovers, xotikiphiles. Instead of being bound by Lashunta traditions and morals, they find freedom by passing as Elves, copying Elven customs, and being bound by Elven social rules.
Elven culture, with its age & complexity, is no easy thing to master. The Elves themselves may be ambivalent allies. Also, while the ruling Lashunta matrons may be content to let the Elves run their own species' affairs, they may be less sanguine about anyone following different rules.

~Rae, Heye, El, Eazue~ - The Sun, Earth, Moon, and Tree. All are symbols and agents of the World-Soul. Lashunta philosophere believe in the Universe's inherent harmony.
However, Yaraesa, the deified hero-sage who has become the god of Wisdom and Learning, argued that universal harmony serves a purpose: to bring forth and celebrate greater diversity. Unlike terrestrial sources who quote the godhead as commanding: "Be fruitful and multiply," Lashunta instead say: ~O'shiafi unili o'utiqanassi,~ - "Be, fruitful, multiply, and diverge." After all, argued Yaraesa, if Burning-Mother had wished the universe to stay the same, she would never have tamed Father-Night, given birth to the planets, and would not have given her children the power to bring their own life into being.
All philosophy aside, Lashunta's psychic empathy means they understand each other's identitiesand needs far better than we humans do. The philosophers pronounce all forms of love are aspects of ~Loae~ - Agape, selfless love: Burning-Mother's mandate to support and foster the universe's growth.
