Kochava 🪬I was an 80’s/90’s kid, so the Star Trek that was actually airing was TNG, DS9, and VOY. That said, my first memories of Star Trek are of TOS.
I remembering seeing an episode at a very young age where a plant attacks them. It was Christmastime, we were at my Grandparents’ house, and my cousins and I played Zombies Ate My Neighbors on NES.
But the most formative Star Trek experience is actually Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country! I know that one doesn’t get as much love as II-IV, but it was foundational for me. Seeing that pink Klingon blood floating in zero G… now THAT was a special effect.

#AllStarTrek I always loved this first sequence from #StarTrekVI, but it's just nutty to be hit with a blast wave from a moon light years away like this, mainly because there is not enough matter in space to have this kind of wave or wind effect.
The same goes for wind storms on Mars.

You know, as much as I like #Flashback cuz #Sulu and Janice Rand return, it occurs to me that Sulu violated his direct orders, and in attempting his rescue got a crewman killed. That sounds like a court mashal.
Slighly different from all of the violations in #StarTrekVI b/c they were exaggerating their status to stay within the explicit bounds of their orders.
I can see why #Tuvok would have originally quit #StarFleet. 🤔
