On this day, May 23rd, 1994, the final episode of Star Trek the Next Generation aired, the last scene, Pat Stewart's now iconic Captain Picard, who had alway kept a sort of reserve as the commanding officer, joining his friends in their weekly card game, the reserve drops, a warm smile and commenting "I should have done this years ago". A warm moment between the characters we so loved.
