#DougJones was such a sweetheart. Just the nicest kindest actor I've ever met. I barely said a peep. In fact I can't think of anything I said other than I love all your work but especially Saru on #StarTrekDISCO (I was wearing my disco shirt...a replica of the one that Tilly wears). And then I thanked him a million times and hugged him and posed for fun pictures. My friend who had never heard of him before talked his ear off but I, who am rarely at a loss for words, was kinda speechless. On the drive home I felt like the kid in Christmas Story who tries climbing back up the Santa slide. I should've told him so much! 😞 #StarTrek

#StarTrekDISCO reminded me that healing can begin and joy (i.e. Buster Keaton) can be introduced when we admit we're not "fine." This reminds me of acronyms of FINE, i.e. Freaked out - Insecure - Neurotic - Emotional. I can admit I've recently been through trauma and I'm an acronym kind of FINE. 🥹 #StarTrek
