An additional image to my post yesterday - this incredible carving is hidden in plain sight, next to the concrete jungle of downtown #Vancouver. Carved into a massive trunk it feels like the face of an old tree spirit or protector of the forests here.

Whomever carved it has surely captured my imagination over multiple visits here.
