The problem with the reusable cup trend is that people are treating cups as a fashion accessory, something to collect rather than something you buy one or two of to reuse over and over to reduce waste.

Let's be honest here people: unless you are planning on breaking the bottom of the cup and licking the damn seal pellet, you are pretty safe from the "evil" lead. Now, if it breaks accidentally (unlikely but OK), don't go licking the pellet. Get a free replacement (Stanley covers it).
