Yo, comrade #XiJinping: Playing with fire will indeed get you burned.
And #Taiwan is way too hot a sweet potato for Winnie the Pooh's paws to handle or get a hold on.
So better back off and get the mess within #China sorted, mkey?

Today is #DoubleTenDay, the national holiday of #Taiwan. Which is a country of its own and most definitely not a part of China.
#HappyBirthday, free and democratic Taiwan!
On this very day, I have to applaud an action performed last week in #Munich at the Consulate of #China. It's only a projection of light, no damage has been done to the building - maybe to some fragile minds of Chinese *communists*, but that's not really a problem then.

Nope. There is only ONE #China, and that is in the West of the Taiwan Straight. And there is ONE #Taiwan that is most definitely NOT a part of that hideous and genocidal single-party dictatorship behind the great firewall.
Taiwan is a diverse #democracy with #mediafreedom and #civicrights. That's a lot of forbidden words in one sentence - in China.
Beijing has showed its true intent too early in #HongKong. And the fine people of Taiwan are neither dumb nor blind.
#StandupforTaiwan
One party to rule them all? #China's #CCP is celebrating itself at its 100th anniversary, not mentioning the #massmurder of more than 60 million Chinese that it is responsible for.
Instead, #XiJinping threatens the world and #Taiwan in particular, rambling about a wall of steel.
The typical ramblings of an old senile bastard. #FuckTheCCP #OneHundredYearsAreEnough

After the #civicrights activists and #mediafreedom, #China's next target in #HongKong is the #independece of the judiciary and thus the #RuleOfLaw.
If you are still in Hong Kong, you've missed the right moment to leave. You are now living in just another city in oppressive authoritarian one-party dictatorship known as China. That's what #1state2systems really was about, from the beginning.

While countries such as #Poland or #Hungary have been eroding #democracy to please the respective ruling parties, #Taiwan has made a significant leap forwards in the Democracy Index ranking as issued by the Economist Intelligence Unit, improving by 20 positions and almost making the global top10 in 11th.
You see: This is at stake if #China's #CCP gets its crazy way. This is why the free world needs to #StandupforTaiwan. And put Beijing in its place. https://focustaiwan.tw/politics/202102030014
Taipei, Feb. 3 (CNA) Taiwan has jumped 20 places in the 2020 Democracy Index rankings to 11th position globally from 31st in 2019, to rank top in Asia, according to the index report released Tuesday by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).
Great to see a Republic of China-#Switzerland Inter-Parliamentary Amity Association being set up in #Taiwan's Legislative Yuan.
As for the Swiss members, this Association covers the entire political spectrum, from far-left Fabian Molina to far-right troll Andreas Glarner.
Does anybody know why on earth this is a #partisan effort on behalf of the #KMT in Taiwan? This Association certainly should get support from #DPP, NPP, TPP and others as well?

Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) lawmakers yesterday launched the Republic of China-Switzerland Inter-Parliamentary Amity Association at an event at the Legislative Yuan in Taipei. The association would promote bilateral trade and bolster cooperation between the two nations through cultural, academic, scientific and other exchanges, said Legislator Chang Yu-mei (張育美), who heads the association. “Taiwan and Switzerland have many similarities: Both have hard-working people who have created a democratic society, and both have many world-famous industries,” Chang said. Switzerland is known for its banking and financial sector, luxury watches, precision machinery, pharmaceuticals, biomedical advances and food industry, she said. All the best to the fine people of #Taiwan, one of the most #diverse and #democratic countries in #Asia (and sure as hell not a rogue province or part of China).
Today it's #DoubleTenDay, which is Taiwan's National Day.
