An amazing stone circle that was set up between 2900 and 2600BC. One version of folklore has it they are petrified giants who refused to convert to Christianity. #neolithic #isleoflewis #scotland #outerhebrides

Unusual circle. All the stones are small for a RSC. The colours are lovely. The stones are dark pink aplite.
Nice view from here of Aberdeenshire and my favourite hill Bennachie.
