I was walking through downtown Gatineau; it was snowing, and then it turned into a blizzard. I took shelter in the Canadian Museum of History (lucky me!), where I wandered aimlessly with my camera, waiting for the storm to let up. At one point, I found myself standing in front of this intricate network of railings and staircases, which were just begging to be photographed.
