Couldn't cope with the vintage 2013 unpleasantness of early #InkMaster so we skipped ahead to episode one of season fourteen and the change in tone is unsurprising but still pretty remarkable.
I guess it is kinda nice that over the years someone realized viewers would rather see more positive feedback from the judges and would prefer watching competitors act mostly supportive of each other to the sour little moments of sniping and skullduggery of the first three seasons
Ugh Tatu Baby and Kyle seem SO equal to me. Argh!! I don't think it's gonna be Jime.

Oh and I'm still upset about the "etch a design into an actual human skull" flash challenge. Not cool!
I hope he only had to read the "Spike TV and Taco Bell are giving viewers the opportunity to go to inkmaster dot spike dot com" line once and they just edited it into every episode. I don't hold him in the highest esteem or anything, but that line still somehow feels beneath Dave Navarro's dignity.
Overall I could do with 100% less 2013 synthetic interpersonal drama. Take all the time wasted making these people snipe at each other and drink Jägermeister and SHOW MORE TATTOOING
