In the 2 decades since that stock photo was taken, the bus lane along #Broadway to #SpringStreet is now an offset busway (separated from the on-street parking) with red asphalt that it is illegal for cars to use except for access, cars now only having 2 lanes.
So it's not just malicious compliance for the ambulance, but also for subtly highlighting how public transport has already been improved and cars reduced.
To save everyone else the work, I've located the original. It's from Adobe Stock, by someone known only as "dantada", and tagged 2006, which is presumably the year when it was taken.
