I left the house at 4 am because weather forecast predicted clear sky from yesterday afternoon till this evening, so I figured I'd have great chances of catching a pretty #sunrise at 5:54 am from probably the highest 24h publicly accessible central spot of #Berlin in the #ViktoriaPark.
Or so I thought... As you can see at the bottom of the monument, they decided to put a lock on the gate 😒
And at the base where I settled for the picture, there's just way too many trees in the way to get a nice shot of pretty much anything.

BUT! I managed to get this fairly decent shot of a #SpottedWoodpecker in action while I was already about to pack things again. At least that was quite rewarding since I managed to get only very blurry shots of one when my partner and I went for a little hike on Easter Monday.
