It has also been a year since I quit Spotify and started buying music the old way.

Other than an initial bump in setting up local storage and buying/retrieving previously bought music, it has honestly been pretty smooth sailing. I love supporting musicians with more than 0.000005 or whatever per stream AND turns out the sense of urgency in consuming more new things is completely fabricated. Who would've thought
