Just under two weeks since last I visited my favorite accessible riverside hang, and spring has most definitely sprung.

The atmospheric river currently soggifying the US west coast is a good 100 miles north of me, but the big (terrestrial) rivers through and around town do have a lot of their sources up in the section of the Cascades in that rainfall's path, so we're seeing some impacts down here at my favorite accessible riverside hang too.

Once Spring gets going in earnest around here, the river will be hidden by lots of lush foliage, but for now it's visible in all its beauty.

I went down to my favorite accessible riverside hang on a refreshingly sunny and warm day for the tail-end of winter, and caught this little reinterpretation of The Peaceable King/Queendom, wherein the human noms out with the geese.

Out and about at my favorite accessible riverside hang after my recent unwellness, gingerly coaxing the CrankyBod back into some semblance of routine.

Grabbing some fresh air while waiting for my laundry to finish drying. Our laundry room, while clean and spacious, is lacking somewhat in vibe compared to this nice bigleaf maple that in summer sports a huge shady crown of foliage.
Down at my favorite accessible riverside hang once again, seeking some semblance of serenity in the midst of national events through the steadying vibe of nature (with a little assist from caffeine).
