Thanks for the memories that I enjoyed these two games especially in Online Play, it was so fun as much as I hate the lags/getting attacked but these 2 are my favorite Wii U game that I love!

News / Pretendo Network: Nintendo has issued a warning not to use revival servers

Nintendo has issued a warning today for people not to use the Pretendo Network as it may pose unexpected security risks.

This isn't really a big deal, but I'm sharing it over here to point out a few things since people seem to be a bit concerned whether this post will affect @pretendo or not.

One thing I wish is that Nintendo would make the outfits available in #Splatoon available in #AnimalCrossing. Like any outfit they released in #Splatoon1 and #Splatoon2 should have been available in #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons (#ACNH). Would have been a fun way to dress your character. I can understand the clothing from #Splatoon3 not being available, since that game released after ACNH.. but it would have been nice to have those outfits available. Also some form of pseudo ocotoling/inkling hair style for the characters. Just add more customization.

Ah well something we can at least hope for the in the next #AnimalCrossing game.

Also keep in mind that Animal Crossing and Splatoon are developed by the same development team.

With Splatoon 4 or Splatoon 1 remake (whichever) I’ll have to wait and see how I feel regarding it and the switch 2 (which I’m still largely undecided on) though I think a Splatoon 1 remake is a more likely purchase then Splatoon 4 for me TBH. #Switchsuccessor #splatoon1 #splatfest #splatoon4 #splatoon3 #nintendo #nintendoswitch

I had like, 3k hours in #Splatoon1, 300 hours in #Splatoon2 and 40ish hours in #Splatoon3. #Splatoon 3 players. What the HELL is goin on in multiplayer. I'm getting my ass kicked and I dont even know how its happening. Also, are people no longer inking their bases ?

With the recent shutdown of #NintendoNetwork, the main functionality of many #WiiU games, including #Splatoon1 and #SuperMarioMaker are completely unavailable if you're not modded to use @pretendo.

We need to stop this happening for future generations and right now, there's a petition on the parliament website to get this spoken about after Ubisoft discontinued an online only game. Please sign it if you're a UK resident to ensure that action is taken.

Require publishers to leave videogames (and related game assets / features) they have sold to customers in a reasonably working state when support ends, so that no further intervention whatsoever is necessary for the game to function, as a statutory consumer right.
