Lior and Louan are identical twins which is highly unusual for spirits because they don't procreate like humans. They need an abundance of essence, a male and a female in bodily contact, and the new spirit is formed right away. Not all parents survive the creation of a kid.
To create twins demands a lot of power - and the twins parents did not make it.

Louan and Maddie are SC in #SpiritChase, the first book of #TheSpiritChapters. They are MC of #SpiritChant, book two.
Benni is SC in both books and MC in the third, #SpiritCircle. Rose is a minor character in #SpiritChant and MC in the last.
Only one example. Daniel was originally planned as SC, but the story didn't work that way. So he became MC of #ChildrenOfAngels.

I can just see Lior with a cat, stroking its soft fur.
Funnily enough, his identical twin Louan is a dog person in my mind.
Cami and Maddie would have a bird - Cami a nightingale and Maddie a raven, just because.
I don't know about the three of #SpiritCircle. I can't picture any of them with a pet. Chris for sure would let any caged animal free at once.

In #SpiritChant: Both Louan and Maddie would rejoice. A lot.
In #SpiritCircle: Depends. In the beginning, they might react shocked. In the end, Benni would be relieved, Rose would spit on their graves, and Chris would have questions.

For the spirits, the dead are dead. Once you're gone, you stay gone.
The humans are more complex. They encounter spirits all around the world, which makes up a huge part of their believing in some kind of afterlife.
If you've met a ghost or an angel, it's hard not to believe, even though they're only tricking you 😈
