#HanGiChan was a lot of fun to watch as well, in addition to being heartbreaking at times. But the cherry on top of the proverbial sundae was having #YounYuhJung and #JoanChen not just in the same film together, but sharing scenes. So amazing to watch them. An absolute acting masterclass.

I'm not sure if this film will break through to mainstream awards but it should definitely make a showing at the #SpiritAwards . #TheWeddingBanquet 2/2

Ok, I'm in. And it was an amazing film. Really good story, some very interesting points brought up, but the best part of the film is the acting. Both #AliciaVikander and #ElizabethOlsen put in powerhouse performances, both worthy of nominations, but with how seemingly quietly this film is being released, I'm not sure it'll get any attention, even from the #SpiritAwards.

Kudos also to #FleurFortuné on her feature film directing debut.

I definitely recommend this film, if you can find it. 2/2
