Haha, hands on your buzzers for #Spicksandspecks scoring (I got one wrong so 8/10 but that included some lucky guesses)
ABC 50/50 quiz: Test your knowledge of Top Gun, bowling underarm and your weight on the Moon

Every question has only two options: one is right and the other is wrong. You have an even chance of guessing correctly each time.

Whilst it's correct to say 'The Nutbush' was a thing in Aussie high schools in the 70s, it's not correct to say it 'originated' there. We were dancing 'The Madison' in 1971 to a Tijuana Brass song. Nutbush City Limits came out in 1973, and gazumped Tijuana Brass as the soundtrack to that dance. #SpicksAndSpecks
The guy from the Go-Betweens said in the intro that the second-last song on an album is always the worst, and I have been furiously reviewing tracklists ever since. I call bullshit! #SpicksAndSpecks

Watching the repeat of #SpicksAndSpecks that debuted the round What's The Story Morning Glory.

Justine Clarke's storytelling was PHENOMENAL! XD

"Wind Beneath My Wings" (sometimes titled "The Wind Beneath My Wings" and "Hero") is a song written in 1982 by Americans #JeffSilbar and #LarryHenley. The song was first recorded by Australian singer #Kamahl in 1982 for a country and western album he was recording. Kamahl talked about being the first to record the song in an appearance on Australian TV show #SpicksAndSpecks, but stated it was not commercially released because it was felt he did not suit the country.
