Zero session last night and trying our hand at a multiverse jumping series of #ttrpg s. #SpeedRune remains as our rules-light origin game for this second try, and I pulled an enchanted defense scenario out of a D&D third post random tables book.
One of us is excited to create a pantheon from the runic powers and another is a first time player. Figured on meeting every couple of weeks and maybe #yazebasbedandbreakfast, #bladesinthdark, or #thequietyear are up next. #indieTTRPGs #indiettrpg

Spent a fun time with #TheOneRing2e making a scholar ranger of the North. I'm also considering homebrews and variants as I go. Need to get a copy of the #pbta #thefellowship to compare and contrast. I'n all in with #onering (at least solo play so far), but I've been hankering to consider #Glorantha, #SpeedRune and some of the related writings of Ted Gioia on historical music, etc. to brew or create something a little different. studying #goodsocietyrpg too. #ttrpgDesign #ttrpghomebrew #ttrpg

2nd in one-shot series : Lasers & Feelings
After a March session of #SpeedRune for our background setting we reconvened today for an intro of the same with additional player and character and then segued into a multiverse jump into #lasersandfeelings . What fun to be the emcee and turn it over to a GM. Amazing session with tie in to the home 'Verse and some great cinematic scenes. And our new player was playing a #ttrpg for the first time. Third session will introduce a brand new #pbta game.

Aaand I'm super interested in QuestWorlds Glorantha and more. I intend to re-listen to the podcast and take notes from just about all parts of the podcast. I love #runequestglorantha and #SpeedRune and can't wait to play #13thage again but in Glorantha. So absolutely agree about mixing it up. Provides max. varying fun!
I finally got my main people face to face for the first time since before the pandemic to #ttrpg. We've all played with others, online, etc. but for for an old crew back together including one of my adult children. We played a re-skin of #SpeedRune by Aaron King (on itch.io) which was inspired by amongst other touchstones #glorantha and rules-light Basic rpg engine.
