Speed Racer was a movie that resonated with me right from the beginning. I was pushing for this among friends and relatives like crazy, trying to get them to see the masterpiece of film-making that broke boundaries.
It bombed on release. Yet over time, it has endured and garnered a cult following as more people discover it. Now, it gets a 4K Home Video release (If there was ever a reason to upgrade my Home Entertainment System...)
