With enough energy, travel to every location in the galaxy is possible within the lifetime of an astronaut from earth traveling under the speed of light. Nuts.

This is a set of multiple problems such that, unless they are solved, we are not going ANYWHERE. Not really. And they are lying when they tell you otherwise.
Most of us spent decades not considering how truly hazardous space travel is.
For example, no known material, no matter how thick, unless it's thousands of miles thick, stops cosmic rays which shred proteins and DNA.
