Duane McLemoreSome candid shots of a #3dPrinted lattice. This one is a \(I \overline 411\) Symmetry Pattern in an Orthorhombic Lattice, all within a singly-truncated Rhombohedral shape. (It's actually my old friend Dürer's Solid with one side un-truncated.)
Printed in white resin on a #Formlabs #Form3 with ZERO support. The file was constructed using Horta, my component library for generating the #SpaceGroups in #Grasshopper3d for #Rhino3d. I'm really impressed with the quality of the Form 3.

My research is in #Computational #Design. I build #tools to implement the #mathematics of the #SpaceGroups in design, mostly #Rhino and #grasshopper.
