was on a flight last week that took off, leveled off at around 4000 ft, and started circling. there was no announcement from the flight deck about what was happening. finally after about 30 minutes, the plane started climbing. the captain said there was a problem with a gauge, but they got the all clear from the maintenance crew to continue to our destination. the plane was a Boeing 737-700 (not a MAX).
