The City of Ottawa is trying to figure out the best way for trucks to travel through the city’s south end. The municipality has launched a comprehensive review which is now in the public consultation phase and kicking off with a resident survey.

CLondoner92 (New Account)First Bus simplify its South #Essex network from Sunday 31 May, expanding 24-hour services and revising routes across #Southend and Basildon.
Route 28 between Southend and Basildon will run 24 hours, with higher frequency, including hourly overnight journeys from midnight–4am and later Sunday evenings.
The Southend–Hullbridge 20 service will be split following demand analysis. Route 25 will operate Southend–Rayleigh more frequently, while revised 27 will run Rayleigh–Hullbridge every 20 minutes on weekdays and 30 minutes at weekends. Through journeys will require a change at Rayleigh, with through-ticketing, while late evening 20 journeys remain.
Early and late X30 journeys to Southend Airport will be reinstated. Service 26 will merge with 3A to create a direct Hadleigh–Shoeburyness link, improving access to Southend Hospital.
The changes follow a review of travel patterns to simplify the network and improve reliability for commuting, leisure and shift work.
