Good morning Tuesday! A gorgeous #spring morning here in #SouthAuckland!! :)
There's music in this story but more of it is about the work nurturing future artists and #Navigators programme in #SouthAuckland helping rangatahi find their voices. Some rap or hiphop music is live and instantaneous so not always on a handy video format.

Flooding 2023

The Auckland region has experienced widespread damage from flooding and torrential rain, with reports of slips and inundation. Infrastructure and emergency services alike have been overwhelmed by the impacts of the storm.

#CivilDefenceCentre’s are being stood up, there’s three active ones I know of

#WestAuckland - Leonard’s Road School
15 St. Leonard’s Road, Kelston

#NorthShore - North Shore Events Centre (Eventfinda Stadium)
17 Silverfield, Wairau Valley

#SouthAuckland - Manu Tukutuku
32 Riverton Drive, Randwick Park

If you can stay with friends or whānau, it’s recommended you try them first. But the shelters are open to everyone.
