Milton Supman, known professionally as Soupy Sales, was best known for his show television show Lunch with Soupy Sales, where he entertained children with various sketches, jokes and gags.

Soupy grew up in the only Jewish family in Franklinton, North Carolina, and while his comedy was not specifically Jewish, it had the post-WW2 era Jewish nature that so much American-Jewish comedy had at the time.

Many children of the 1950s and 1960s remember Soupy's show fondly to this day, and the show can still be seen on Jewish Life Television and Retro Television Network.

The way I felt by 3AM Saturday, I would have bet money I'd test positive, but no. I'm now on day 4 of a severe cold... the first time I've been sick in 4 years. In the era of COVID-19, remember that colds and other illnesses still exist. Take care of yourself, and be a good citizen by doing your best not to spread germs to others. My Mom always said, "You can fight a cold and it'll last 7 days, or you can let a cold run its course and it'll last a week." Area grocery stores are making a lot of "Soupy Sales" to me.
