They finally released a patch to give users the option to get rid of the awful day/night cycle that they added to the Soul Reaver Remastered collection. Thing is, the changelog on the patch is dated December 10. Did the developers/publisher just take ages to upload the patch to GOG?

Embracer Group: So we just got the rights to the Legacy of Kain games, what should we do with them?

Aspyr: Let's add a useless day/night cycle to Soul Reaver that the game was never designed for and which makes the thing unplayable when you're in an outdoor area at night since you can't see anything!
