@zephry There are many forms of democracy that have to, by definition, be an experiment. Representation has had its day.
I don't need professional politicians; I need an accountable civil service.
I don't need lobbyists; I need choice.
I don't need representation; I need a place.
I don't need to be told; I need to be heard.
I don't need divisive tribal politics.
What I need is a fully staffed, well trained, truly independent civil service, guided by peoples assemblies, guided by experience. We can have #Unityindiversity.
"I" can't speak for "others" but "we" can agree, if not we can have a dialogue, there is a way through this and many of the the 99% are experimenting with options. Others are waking up every day and joining the conversation. Many of them are taking action. I am grateful.

Representative Democracy is not working. They sell us out for power OVER us & serve the will of billionaires, patriarchy, & oppression.
Only one or two billionaires for politicians to please instead of the many thousands who voted for them, or the life & earth that sustains it all.
They always end up stealing money, power, human rights, & freedom from The People. Only a few outliers willing to represent the people. Enough for hope. Never enough for change.
