Ancient fragment of opalescent white Roman glass with blue patina set in a sterling silver pendant.
"Roman glass" is exactly what it says on the tin: fragments of glass from the Roman Empire, unearthed with unique mineral deposits and patinas from their original use and then from their time underground. This piece - 1.25 inch piece of glass set in a 1.75 inch pendant - is unique and one of a kind, a custom setting for a piece of ancient glass in the form that it came to me.
