Laatste hoor. ;)

Een Akkerhommel (lang leve Obsidentify) die vliegt tussen de Witte klaver. Mazzel natuurlijk na talloze foto's. Ook hier zoom ik in tot bijna 600 mm, terwijl ik op 2 meter afstand zit.

Ik weet nog zoveel niet van deze camera. Maar wat een geweldig ding zeg. 10 jaar oud, maar nog steeds een top apparaat. En foto's te importeren naar de mobiel via een WiFi verbinding. Ik vind het leuk.

Nog een oefening. Een gouden beeldje op een huis in Antwerpen bij de winkelstraat. Maakt het tegenlicht het beeldje wat donker? Verbaasd hoe scherp het is.

Ik ben wat aan het oefenen geslagen met de Sony #rx10 mk3.

Macro is nog wennen. Ik vind niet de juiste manier. Onderstaande morgenster zaad pluizen is gemaakt door in te zoomen. Wel scherp, maarijn gevoel zegt dat het anders kan.

I get the impression that the camera I want might be a Sony Alpha A7C…

It basically seems to check all the boxes and used ones are available for < 1000 € with used kit lenses available for < 200 €…

The big bonus being that both are rather small and light, which means I would be more likely to actually carry them around…

Anyone any relevant experiences?

I’m currently eyeing cameras (won’t buy before I actually get my first salary) and I found this one:

Sony Alpha A7 III for 509€, “well used”. It supposedly has a shutter count of 6,622,746 [sic!], at a Shutter life rating of 200,000, meaning that it exceeded that by a factor of 33!

What does that mean in terms of whether this is a good deal?

If we go by the bathtub curve this could either be the 1-in-a-million shutter that never fails or that it will any day now? Or supposedly they can be repaired and this means that this already has a bunch of repairs on it? And since this one seems to have both a mechanical and an electronic shutter, is this number even all that relevant?

(Again, unless this is still available in let’s say a month, I won’t buy it, but I feel this might be something I would want to know about in the future.)
