Hat jemand Erfahrung mit #Studiolink?

Das jährliche Event mit zusammengeschalteten Bühnen steht an. (Allerdings nur unidirektional, also kein Echo-Problem.) Letztes Mal bin ich mit #Sonobus gescheitert und musste #Zoom als Fallback nutzen. Leider hört man das auch im Hifi-Musikmodus.

Bisher nutzen wir nur eine von vier Verbindung übers Internet, der Rest läuft über verrottete Telefonleitung mit 100V-System… die gefühlt jedes Jahr mehr Störungen einfangen.

Doch das System mit den Telefonleitungen ist lokal und wenig komplex, während ich bei Studiolink zum Beispiel nichts über die Verfügbarkeit weiß – wie verlässlich ist das durchgehend nutzbar, und so weiter.

Found an even easier way to operate my HF station (in the house) while sitting in the back yard shed. Using #SonoBus to send FTdx3000’s RX audio to my iPhone, listen with AirPods, & when I talk into phone’s mic, it sends that audio to my #Mac, which it outputs to the headphone jack, which is connected to Line In on the HF rig. VOX takes care of the rest. Worked a FL #POTA on the 1st try.

Hmm, I just found out about #Sonobus. It looks cool.

It's a crossplatform #FOSS application that lets you stream audio over the network. From what I understand, it should integrate with pipewire-jack on #Linux.
