I remember playing Sonic R on the PC as a kid, and how the race to unlock Metal Knuckles absolutely kicked my butt.

Playing it as an adult via Gems Collection, it still took me a few tries to gather all the medals, but on my first race I was closing in on the finish line and Metal Knuckles passed me at the very last second.

I won anyway.

I'd lapped him.
