It's winter. I'm in Northern Europe. I watched Ducktales 2017 episode 'The Impossible Summit of Mount Neverrest'. I have an active imagination. Do the math what happens afterwards.
Story here is simple: When the team goes to the high mountains in search of treasure and adventure, they each have a different response to the chilling temperature...
Will grew up in Mediterranean climate, she spent her whole life in similar climate and had never experienced true winter. And she's a leopard gecko - a reptile. Guess what happens when the trio travels to a very cold location? Three sets of sweaters, a warm jacket, a thick coat, 2 leggings, thermo pants, 4 pairs of socks, fluffiest and warmest boots the store had, several pairs of gloves and mittens, a scarf and a winter hat are involved.
Rex grew up with pirates. He had sailed the world and been to many locations and experienced all kinds of weather. Give him a fluffy and nicely thick winter vest and keep a warm pair of gloves on standby and he'll manage.
Gale is a chinchilla. They already live high in the mountains (up to 4,270 m (14,000 ft)), so they're used to cold temps, so her fur is thick enough to not need anything more then a scarf on occassion, but she'll definately need winter boots, if only because she wants to have a better grip for when she jumps when there's snow around.
Gale is just a cheeky bitch, Rex is trying to be nice and Will is just done already and wants to go crawl under a rock and sleep there, adventure and historic value and importance be damned.
Ignore the bland background. This was the best I could've come up with and I looked at various mountain pictures for reference and inspiration.
