#boardgames #soloboardgaming
I like playing short (under an hour) solo boardgames in the evenings. I've tried quite a few different games, but I'm getting hooked on flip and write games. It's almost no setup, very small footprint (couch or bed friendly), but still a lot of variability or complexity.
My top pick is Welcome to the moon and recently Flip town, loving both. Any other games for this genre?
I've discovered that if you just read 'player' as 'character' then pretty much any game becomes able to be played solo.
Défaite. Ou victoire, tout dépend où je me place.
First time playing Rebecca Walks Home at Night, tonight with my daughter. Super simple and quick to play, but a lot of fun!
Regretting not buying the expansions with the Kickstarter, since it feels like there is a lot of potential to build on here. Sort of a magic the gathering feel, where a simple base game with mechanic modifying cards can create a lot of depth.
First game of Final Girl. I did not make it. But I had a lot of fun! I think I'd like to play through a few more times before forming a full opinion, but it feels like I could get a lot of play out of it. The additional feature films all look tempting.
