RECLAIM THE SEA
Solidarity with the f.Lotta

In the last few days, a fleet of boats has set sail south of Lampedusa to reclaim the #MediterraneanSea as a space of resistance. Together they denounce Europe’s racist migration policies. Policies that kill, imprison, and try to silence those on the move.

Each f.Lotta vessel carries a specific struggle, a campaign, a message: against borders, against far right on the rise, against genocide, against boat drivers being criminalised, the Italy-Libya Memorandum and others. As these struggles are not separate, F.lotta wanted to connect them on land and at sea, in the Mediterranean and beyond.

Pointing out and recognising the intersections of injustices and oppression is crucial in the fight against fortress #Europe and all oppressive systems.
