Hm… That mining scenario is pure fiction at present. What's real right now though, is the astronomical amount of taxpayer money going into the already filled up pockets of an oligarchy, in what is euphemistically called "space economy".
IMO, it's more plausible that a politico-economic singularity will occur much sooner, as history teaches, than it is for some countries to dispute over territorial rights on a #solarock anytime in this or the next century.
