EdibleFuchsiaIs anyone trying to retrofit EVs with #SolarPanels ? I was looking down at the black roofs of cars in the heatwave and it just looked like prime real estate for PV. I know some new Chinese EVs are coming with them. But is it possible to stick PV to the roof with a mini inverter straight into the battery? I know the FF crowd are probably bunging bungs to the car manufacturers to stop this but, there is literally 2msq of PV space on every car just winking at the sun! Come to think of it are EVs coming with any possibility of mini plugs to take advantage of balcony/carport solar?
