I've been trying to work out how much switching to #renewable power at home has saved me ...

But it's really hard to work out what I would have spent in an alternate universe.

do I include government grants in calcs??

and what about the less tangible benefits

The #ElectricCar is just nicer to drive

The #SolarBattery provides backup power

Induction hobs are easier to cook with and easier on asthma

..it's early days but so far the #HeatPump is quieter than my gas boiler was

Battery is almost fully flat. Will have to charge from 1pm to 4pm. First time in ages. Only generated 1.4 kWh from solar so far today.
