From 20-22 May, Soil Assembly joined artists, activists and cultural practitioners for “Festivities Under Siege” at Krater, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The gathering brought together Practice Matters, Future DiverCities and Soil Assembly to explore resistance, solidarity and collective worldmaking amid today’s intersecting crises, with a focus on neglected urban contexts and anthropogenic ruins.
