MoritzIch empfehlen #Netcup bei vielen Gelegenheiten, weil die VPS-Produkte einfach unschlagbar sind. Aber beim Webhosting ist es wirklich ein Trauerspiel, gerade in Bezug auf veraltete Software-Versionen. Beim Webhosting bietet man #Nodejs Support, aber nur in v21, die längst EOL ist. Und auch die verwendeten #SOGo-Versionen sind hoffnungslos veraltet.

Listmonk uses #PostgreSQL as its back-end. My self-hosted #SOGo instance was running on #MariaDB. So first I should migrate that to PgSQL so I only have to backup and maintain one database instead of two.
That was half the day gone.

At some point Outlook at one department stopped syncing emails and calendars. Logs reported "Cache cleanup needed for user X", but cache cleanup didn't help.
In the end it was 1 event in shared calendar, it had & symbol in the name, which was properly escaped in description field of XML sync message, but not in ServerID field, which caused failure with parsing the message and go out of sync with client

Ich habe früher diverse Kalenderabos für Sportveranstaltungen gehabt. So wurden mir die Ereignisse im Kalender angezeigt.
Mit meinem @doncow und #SoGo müsste ich auf jedem Gerät jeden Kalender einzeln importieren. Das ist mir zu umständlich.
Funktioniert das sauber in Nextcloud? Also ich abonniere in NC alle Kalender und ziehe mir dann nur den NC Kalender aufs Handy via CalDav oder so.
