I would talk with your family about TikTok and other social media companies, specifically TikTok, regarding their use of Generative AI (GenAI) to profile accounts and then subtly introduce radicalizing content on both ends of the political spectrum. This creates a level of confusion that is difficult even for my AI to detect, as the user is given positive reinforcement for the radicalized thinking. Over time, they become fully immersed in whatever ideology was promoted.

My hypothesis is that it is designed to create division in family and relationships. I also believe these algorithms are used by other parties to recruit people into Discord servers, where they can talk with impunity and fully immerse the person in extremist content that is not regulated. Without TikTok and social media algorithms, it would be harder to disseminate the content. It would also be harder for them to recruit people. So there is basically a tiered system into how they find their targets and then offer them access to private servers.
