I knew when I worked in social care policy that good #socialcare was very skilled work, but I couldn’t tell you how. It was very abstract. Now myself and some friends are helping out a mate who is getting treatment for cancer, I have much better idea of just how skilled #SocialCareWorker folk are. We are just doing some basics when his support team aren’t there. But the way they approach support and work with him is miles ahead of us.

#SETUWexford is the first of the #SETU campuses to achieve full accreditation by #CORU for their BA (Hons) Social Studies in Professional Social Care. This means current and future students of the programme will graduate with eligibility to register with CORU under the professional and protected title of #SocialCareWorker upon graduation.
