Before the accident, I had started another project scarf on my loom. A scarf for Aleks.
Now it looks like it's going to be some time till I am able to sit and work and play with this project.
So I found this.
A little weaving wheel.
It makes a braided rope.
Once I get it long enough, I think it'll be a special add into Aleks' scarf.
And I think my little girls will love to use the wheel to make bracelets <3 <3

So that was 4 days in busy hospitals, full of very sick people.
I'm vaccinated. I stayed as distanced as possible. And I masked. N95 masks, sometimes double masked and masked when sleeping.
Today (one week from discharge date) I'm calling it and celebrating that I dodged the virus bullet. Yeah!
If I could dance, I would be happy dancing. <3

I graduated from gown to pants!!!
(PJ pants but pants none the less :) )
I think my healing progress is good. My "staying grounded and breathe" muscles are getting very good workouts each day.

Xray Banff, ambulance to Calgary Foothills, 8 hr wait to be get into unit, hip replacement Saturday, Sunday learn to use a walker and Monday home with walker, crutches and bell for help.
I am so very grateful for all those who took such great care to help me make this terrible, no good, very bad weekend into a manageable event.
The sign post demise will not be regretted by anyone...especially me.
