BecIt was SO COLD today ('felt like 0C at 7am) and it's so cold again this evening. I am discouraged by this -- I wanted to get out into the garden after work but it was hailing (!!) so I made an early tea instead (curry and rice, because what's better than a filling hot meal when it's hailing).
I am yearning for spring and some free time... booked in for a week of holidays next month and I can't wait. Fingers crossed the weather will warm up by then.
Apart from the weather, the day zoomed by as fairly normal. I got some eye ointment for the chook, so hopefully this will clear up her infection. Got out for a couple of brisk walks in between the showers. Food shopping day tomorrow, plus buying Kid4 some new shoes. Mundane but that's OK -- can't really complain.
